Siliguri, 02nd December: On Saturday, a resident voices a complaint concerning the civic volunteers of the city on the “Mayor ke Bolo” program. The complainant accused the civic volunteers of alleged misconduct and accepting bribes from the civilians. Siliguri Mayor Goutam Deb assured to investigate further into the matter.
According to reports, the civic volunteers have been the target of complaints in various regions of Siliguri on multiple occasions. The general public is highly discontent with the civic officials across the state. However, reports indicate that a specific group of civic volunteers are subjected to various allegations.
In this regard, a resident voiced the matter in the program on behalf of all the civilians. Subsequently, the mayor assured to look into the matter and discuss it with the police officials.
