Siliguri, 06th July: Concerned by the alarming COVID-19 scenario in Siliguri, the police workers and traffic police officials of Siliguri Police Commissionerate, on Monday morning, took to the streets and launched awareness campaigns in various areas including Sevoke Road, Bidhan Market and Hashmi Chowk.
Despite the growing number of positive coronavirus cases across the city, several people fail to understand the gravity of the present situation. Most people are sighted wearing face masks pulled down under their noses, touching their face masks.
Pinpointing such carelessness, the Siliguri traffic police officials explained the importance of mouth masks and other COVID guidelines to the general public at various traffic points.
