Siliguri, 15th August: Siliguri Police Commissioner Gaurav Sharma inaugurated the Kawakhali traffic post and Bagdogra traffic guard. It is to recall after frequent road accidents were reported from Kawakhali, a temporary traffic guard was installed on June 15 to monitor the traffic.
Today, in the 76th year of independence Gaurav Sharma inaugurated the traffic post by cutting the ribbon. Apart from this, helmets were also provided to the bike riders who were riding without any safety kits. In this regard, DCP Traffic Abhishek Gupta said that the main objective of installing a traffic post is to make accident-prone areas accident free in the coming future.
