Siliguri, 04th October: The Pradhan Nagar police had arrested two persons named Rana Thakur and Kamal Thakur on October 01 with 196 pieces of yaba tablets. The duo was produced in Siliguri NDPS Court today, where the judge, considering the old records of both directed seven days police remand to them.
It is to be noted that on October 01, Pradhan Nagar police, acting on a tip-off, raided near Tenzing Norgay bus stand and arrested Rana Thakur and Kamal Thakur. A huge quantity of Yaba tablets was recovered from their possession. The police are investigating the whole case.
