Siliguri, 14th May: Siliguri Metropolitan Police have paced up the drive against land mafias following the strict orders of the Chief Minister. Over the past few weeks, many arrests have been made in this regard. Likewise, police arrested Chamet Roy and Sanjay Mandal under the charge of selling land by making fake documents.
Reportedly, the duo was arrested a few days ago too on the same charges. However, they were released. Once again, after a complaint was registered against both, the police arrested them on Friday night. The accused were produced in Jalpaiguri court today.
