Siliguri, 23rd May: The Siliguri Metropolitan Police organized ‘Utsarg’ blood donation camp which will last for a week, to overcome the shortage of blood in blood banks. Under the aegis of Siliguri Police Commissioner Gaurav Sharma, the blood donation camp commenced today.
The following camp was organized in association with Siliguri Terai Lions Blood Bank. Apart from many police personnel, common people also donated blood in the camp.
On the other hand, DCP (East) Joy Tudu, ACP (East) Shubhendra Kumar, and ACP (DD) Rajen Chhetri reached the NJP police station to encourage the blood donors.
