Siliguri, 30th May: Sensation prevailed after a man was crushed to death by a wall that collapsed on him at the Jabravita area under NJP station. The deceased has been identified as Nimu Gun (59), a resident of the same area.
It was reported that Nimu Gun and another person was severely injured after the boundary wall of a government godown suddenly collapsed on them. Following this, the locals rescued both the injured and rushed them to the Siliguri District hospital.
Upon further health deterioration of Nimu Gun, he was later admitted to a private hospital. However, he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
