Siliguri Hospital Superintendent accused of misbehaving with health worker, victim writes to CMOH

Siliguri, 10th August: Allegations have been leveled against the Superintendent of Siliguri District Hospital Amitabh Mandal for misbehaving with a health worker.


Prashanta Sarkar, District Secretary of the West Bengal State Government Employees Federation, stated that a few days ago, a newly-appointed health worker, Pritam Barman, was mistreated by the hospital super and was allotted for COVID duty.

Pritam Barman (health worker) sent a written letter to the Darjeeling District CMOH in this regard. The federation members further alleged that several complaints regarding the Superintendent Amitabh Mandal misbehaving with the staff have emerged in the past too.


The Employees Federation urged the super to respect his fellow staff and take the matter into consideration.
