Siliguri, 16th March: In a remarkable achievement, the Siliguri District Hospital won the title of ‘best government hospital’ in collaboration with the Bangur Institute of Neurology. The news has led to an atmosphere of excitement across the city.
Reportedly, on Saturday, the Chairman of Rogi Kalyan Samiti and Siliguri Mayor Gautam Deb revealed the information at a press conference in the Siliguri District Hospital.
Chairman Gautam Deb stated that the state government would provide Rs 50 lakh to the hospital for patient services. He added that the central government has recognized the hospital for providing good-quality food and that various proactive measures are being undertaken to improve patient services and infrastructure.
