Siliguri, 29th July: A team of Detective Department, SPC busted a racket involved in making fake driving licence and RC books, this afternoon. Two persons have been arrested in connection with the matter. They have been identified as, Biplab Das of Ward No. 31 and Souvik Ghosh of Mahananda Para, Siliguri from a shop styled as Siliguri Copy Center, opposite Siliguri Court.
During the raid, a huge cache of fake driving licences, fake Registration Certificate of vehicles, one computer with printer and other incriminating articles were recovered and seized from their possession. A specific case is being initiated at Siliguri Police Station.
The duo will be produced before the Ld Court tomorrow with the appeal for police custody, for further probe into the case.
