Siliguri Champasari and Nivedita Market closed for 10 days, area under strict police surveillance

Siliguri, 17th June: In light of the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in Siliguri Ward No. 46, the Siliguri Champasari Bazar and vegetable shops of the Nivedita Market, starting today, has been shut down for 10 days as a containment measure.
As per the report, the Pradhan Nagar Police has launched strict surveillance in the area since this morning.
In this context, the locals stated that although people will face difficulties due to the closure of the market, they support the initiative taken on behalf of the administration as it will help prevent the further spread of the deadly virus.
It is to be noted that several positive cases were reported from the aforementioned ward. In view of this, barricades were put up around the ward on June 16 and the administration decided to shut down all shops and markets.

    hospital private or govt should have strict vigilance over the gathering around hospital and their way of sanetization
