Siliguri, 15th April: In a heart-warming gesture, a 6th standard student of Siliguri Boys’ High School Aritra Sanyal decided to donate his savings to feed the poor amid the COVID-19 lockdown.
According to sources, Aritra takes interest in cricket and had saved some money to buy various cricket gear. However, after seeing the struggle of the poor during the lockdown, he decided to use his savings uniquely.
The little boy handed over the money to the members of the Siliguri Unique Foundation on Wednesday. His selfless initiative was highly praised by his family members.
