Siliguri, 10th September: A one-day knockout football tournament was organized under the initiative of Siliguri’s Borough Committee No II. The tournament was organized at the Ramakrishna Samiti Ground under Ward No. 14 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC).
As per reports, several teams from the wards under Borough Committee No II participated in the one-day knockout football tournament. The tournament was inaugurated by SMC Mayor Goutam Deb and Chairman Pratul Chakraborty. The event also witnessed the presence of Ward No. 14 Councillor Sravani Dutta, Ward No. 8 Councillor Shalini Dalmia, and other dignitaries.
