Siliguri, 16th July: The SFI Darjeeling District Committee, on Friday, handed over a memorandum to the Siliguri SDO on multiple demands.
They protested in front of the SDO office and presented their demands to reduce the hike in fees of all schools and colleges, to open colleges and universities in accordance with all rules and regulations and others.
In this regard, SFI Darjeeling district president Sagar Sharma said that all shops, shopping malls are open, however, only educational institutions are closed. Hence, demand has been made to vaccinate students immediately and reopen schools.
SFI Darjeeling District Secretary Shankar Majumder, District President Sagar Sharma, District Secretariat member Abhijit Chanda, Tanmoy Chanda, and other party workers and supporters were present at the programme.
