Several voluntary organizations of Dhupguri donate in the CM’s Relief Fund

Dhupguri, 07th May: In view of the Coronavirus outbreak, a nation-wide lockdown has been announced to contain the spread of the virus. In this regard, the State Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee as well as the Dhupguri Municipality urged all the voluntary organizations to donate in the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.


In response to the appeal, the common people and several voluntary organizations of Dhupguri stepped forward and collectively donated a total of 8 lakh 27 thousand 423 rupees in the CM’s Relief Fund. The cheque was handed over to Rajesh Kumar Singh, vice chairman of the Dhupguri municipality. Following this, the donated amount was sent to the Relief Fund through online procedures.

Rajesh Kumar Singh stated that several other people and organizations have assured to contribute more money in the future. “We, the people of Dhupguri area, hope to donate around 15 lakh rupees to the CM’s relief fund”, he added.
