Kharibari, 15th September: Several passengers were injured in a collision between a bus and a pickup van near the Sannyasi Jangli Baba more on Asian Highway 2.
According to the information received, a passenger bus was travelling from Siliguri to Naxalbari during which it collided head-on with a pickup van coming from the opposite direction. The injured individuals were rescued and then rushed to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for treatment.
On the other hand, after receiving the news of the incident, the police reached the spot and started an investigation.
