Siliguri, 18th July: The undercover cops of the Siliguri police station arrested seven miscreants before they could commit a crime on Sunday.
While patrolling at night, the police got suspicious after spotting seven youths loitering around and apprehending them. During interrogation, the plan of the gang was revealed.
The accused have been identified as Sainik Nandi (20), Ranjan Sahni also known as Rajen (22), Subodh Barman a.k.a Subhajit (25), Jagendranath Barman (29), Sumit Das a.k.a Napo (27), Mohammad Ali Raja (23) and Shubham Mandal (25). Reportedly, the seven youths are residents from different areas of Siliguri. The accused were produced in the Siliguri court today.
