Segun wood recovered in Fulbari, 8 arrested

Rajganj, 11th March: Based on a tip-off, Belakoba Range Officer, Sanjay Dutta and his team from the North Bengal Special Task Force under the Baikunthapur Forest Department launched an operation near the Fulbari area on Wednesday morning and recovered Segun wood worth 2 crore rupees. Reportedly, 8 men were arrested in the incident.

Upon interrogation, it was confessed that the wood was being transported from Nagaland to Kolkata. The arrested will be produced at the Jalpaiguri court on Thursday.
