Rajganj, 16th March: Police launched a search operation at the Teesta Canal, today, after the clothes of Dilip Debnath, a resident of Nawapara in Rajganj Sahudangi, was found along the banks of the Teesta Canal.
The family members had searched for Debnath, who had been missing since March 10, but he was nowhere to be found. However, Debnath’s pants were found, yesterday, across the Teesta Canal near his house. Debnath’s family members lodged a missing report at the Ambari Police outpost. Based on the complaint, the police and a team of divers commenced a search operation at the Teesta Canal, today.
