‘Say No to Drugs’ campaign launched by Matigara police

Siliguri, 16th June: Siliguri’s new police commissioner Gaurav Sharma launched a ‘Say No to Drugs’ campaign to make the city drug-free.


The programme was inaugurated today by Matigara police at Biswas Colony in Matigara. The police officials said they would cooperate with the locals to make the programme a success.

In this regard, ACP Chandan Das said that the operation is being carried out under the initiative of the Siliguri Police Commissioner to make the city drug-free. Apart from this, a free computer coaching center and education arrangements will be provided for the needy children.


IC of Matigara Police Station Anirban Bhattacharya, Medical College Outpost OC Amartya Chakraborty, and other police personnel were present at the programme.
