Islampur, 27th September: The Bharat Bandh called by Sanjukta Kisan Morcha received a mixed effect in Islampur under Uttar Dinajpur district.
Various organizations took to the streets since this morning to make the bandh a success. Most of the shops in Islampur were kept shut. Although government buses are being spotted plying on the roads, the number of private buses is very low.
