Siliguri, 03rd March: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has continued to protest demanding the execution of the chief accused Sheikh Shajahan in the Sandeshkhali incident. On Sunday, the BJP OBC Morcha demonstrated in front of the Pradhan Nagar Police Station.
Reportedly, on this day, members of the BJP OBC Morcha marched in front of the police station and called for the death penalty for Sheikh Shahjahan. Following this, BJP officials and workers set fire to an effigy of Sheikh Shahjahan along National Highway No. 31.
