Fulbari, 22nd April: In a recent development, heroin worth Rs 25 crore, recovered during several operations, has been disposed by burning at the Greenzen Bio Plant located at Putimari in Fulbari.
Reportedly, on Monday, the drugs have been destroyed under the supervision of the District Magistrate and NJP GRP. Speaking in this regard, District Magistrate Debdulal Patra stated that in the year 2021-22, the NJP GRP had conducted several operations and recovered a huge quantity of heroin. He added that the recovered drugs have been destroyed.
During this, NJP GRP Inspector-In-Charge (IC) Premasis Chattaraj, DSP Vinod Chhetri, Special Operations Group (SOG) OC A.K. Ganguly, and other officers were present.
