Round Table India and Ladies Circle India organize artificial limb donation camp in Siliguri Ward No. 43

Siliguri, 16th November: Artificial limb donation programme was organized under the joint initiative of Round Table India and Ladies Circle India, on Tuesday.


15 people with special needs were provided artificial limbs at the North Bengal Marwari Disability Center in Ward No. 43 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation. Besides, food items were also handed over to them.

Neha Singhania, Chairperson of Ladies Circle India, said that such an initiative has been taken to enable differently-abled people to be self-dependent.


On the other hand, Round Table India, Ladies Circle India, Dagapur Tea Garden Manager Sandeep Ghosh, and Dagapur Tea Garden Medical Officer Nitai Krishna Mallick jointly organized a free eye examination camp at Dagapur Tea Garden Primary School. 150 workers got their eyes examined at the camp.

In this regard, Sumit Singhal, a member of Round Table India, said that if the tea garden workers need glasses or cataract surgery, they will be provided with all requirements free of cost.
