Siliguri, 23rd October: Rotary Club Siliguri distributed cooked food and new clothes among 530 needy people at Mech Busty, Targhera Range, Oodlabari amid the Durga Puja festival.
The programme was organized on Thursday in the presence of the club’s district Governor 3240 RTN. Subhasish Chatterjee and Assistant Governor district 3240 – ZONE 05, RTN Sandeep Ghoshal, President RTN Shiv Shankar Sarkar, Secretary RTN. Rakesh Garg, Project Chairman RTN. Jyoti Dey and Co-Project Chairman RTN. Rajesh Agarwal.
The Rotary Club Siliguri members on the occasion took care of the nourishment and emotional well being of the underprivileged citizens of the area. The members in the presence of the club dignitaries tried to bring back smile in the faces of the children, men, women and the elderly by means of new clothes distribution.
