Fulbari, 26th August: The collapse of a significant stretch of road and a vital culvert following continuous rainfall has left the residents of Kanchanbari, under Fulbari-II Gram Panchayat, deeply worried about their safety. Panchayat Pradhan Rafiqul Islam promptly visited the site after learning about the incident.
Local sources revealed that the collapsed culvert and road section has created a hazardous situation, endangering both commuters and nearby shops. This route serves as a key pathway for many travellers and plays a crucial role in the local economy.
In response, the Pradhan announced a temporary road closure, considering the safety risks posed by the damaged infrastructure. He assured the community of his efforts to engage with higher authorities for urgent repairs, recognizing the importance of restoring the road and culvert swiftly.
