Rajganj, 24th February: A youth lost his life in a road accident in the Fareyavita area of Rajganj. The deceased has been identified as Palash Roy (22), resident of Dhapachila in Belakoba gram panchayat.
It has been learned that Palash left for Chaulhati with his motorbike on Thursday morning, following which, the vehicle lost control in the Fareyavita area of Talma-Chaulhati paved road in Rajganj and rammed into an electricity pole on the roadside. Unfortunately, he died on the spot.
Upon receiving the news, the Rajganj Police reached the spot, recovered the body, and sent it to Jalpaiguri District Hospital for autopsy.
