Kharibari, 20th January: Two people were injured in a road accident, on Wednesday night. The injured individuals have been identified as Tarun Mandal and Roni Mandal.
Reportedly, a four-wheeler was arriving from Batasi towards Panitanki. The vehicle went out of control and hit a roadside pole. As a result, two persons including the driver were injured. They were later recovered and rushed to a private hospital in Naxalbari.
On the other hand, as soon as the information of the incident was received, Kharibari police reached the spot and started an investigation of the whole incident.
