Rajganj, 04th November: Three people were injured in a bike-car collision at the Purba Dhantala area on Fulbari Canal Road, on Thursday morning. The injured individuals have been identified as Jyotish Roy and Arjun Roy, residents of Chopra, and Dolan Sarkar, a local.
According to local sources, Jyotish Roy and Arjun Roy were on their way to Chopra on a motorcycle when they hit Dolon Sarkar while she was crossing the road in Purba Dhantala. Furthermore, a small four-wheeler car, with 4 tourists traveling towards Dooars, lost control and rammed into the aforementioned motorcycle, severely injuring the rider, pillion rider and the woman.
The bike rider was rushed to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital and the other two to a private hospital in Fulbari. NJP police have started an investigation into the incident.
