Rise of dengue cases in Siliguri: Food Kits to be delivered to patients by Siliguri Municipal Corporation

Siliguri, 11th September: The rise in dengue cases in Siliguri Municipal Corporation is increasing day by day. In such a situation, the Mayor of Siliguri Municipal Corporation, Goutam Deb has taken an initiative to make the patients healthy at the earliest. Food packets and vitamin tablets will be provided and distributed by the corporation to the homes of dengue patients.


Reportedly, the corporation has taken this step to ensure no shortage of food for the dengue-affected people. Siliguri Municipal Corporation Mayor Goutam Deb has also started visiting several dengue-affected wards of the city starting today. The Mayor went to Ward No. 4 and 5 and talked to the residents there and inquired about the dengue situation.

During this, the mayor learned that patients suffering from dengue face a lot of problems with food. After this, the office-bearer and the mayor ordered councilor Dulal Dutt to deliver food kits to the homes of dengue-affected patients. It has been told that the food kit will contain eggs, vegetables, and vitamin tablets.


During this, Mayor Goutam Deb said that even during the pandemic time, food kits were given in homes. Similarly, food kits will also be distributed to the homes of dengue patients.
