Kharibari, 25th May: In response to the long-existing demand for the road, today, the foundation stone of a road was laid at Paschim Pataram Jote in Gaji Jote constituency under Kharibari block by Kishori Mohan Singh, Working President of Siliguri Mahakoma Parishad. The program was also attended by, Lalit Barman, member of Kharibari Panchayat Samiti, and others.
According to reports, due to the lack of road in this area for a long time, the common citizens were in a state of misery. In this regard, today, the foundation stone of the 211 meter road was laid to be constructed at an estimated cost of 3 lakh, 24 thousand rupees.
