Rajganj, 27th January: Rajganj police detained two illegal stone-laden trucks and arrested two persons identified as Muktar Ali and Ramu Orao.
It has been learned that while patrolling in the Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway on Wednesday night, the stone-laden trucks were detained and searched by the police. When the truck drivers failed to provide any valid documents, they were immediately taken into custody.
The arrested individuals were produced at Jalpaiguri court on Thursday.
