Rajganj, 01st March: A portion of the Trinamool Congress party has declared to revolt against TMC’s newly formed district committee. In this regard, Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy held a meeting in Belacoba on Sunday.
Roy expressed outrage as candidates including former workers who were recommended by the District President were not absorbed in the new committee.
The meeting was attended by Block President Lakhimohan Roy, Joint General Secretary of Indian National Trinamool Trade Union Congress (INTTUC) Central Committee Tapan Dey, youth leader Ranbir Majumder, and many other dignitaries. It was informed that the matter will be reported to the party’s supremo Mamata Banerjee and State Youth President Abhishek Banerjee on Monday.
