Rajganj, 17th April: In light of the COVID-19 lockdown, Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy handed over 5 quintals of rice to Padma Shri Karimul Haque to distribute it in the Belakoba area on Friday.
Roy stated that the nation-wide lockdown in the wake of rising COVID-19 cases has made a huge economical impact on the daily wagers and their families. In this context, a couple of days ago, Karimul Haque had contacted him and has asked for help. Hence, today the MLA handed over 5 quintals of rice to the social activist. Roy said that help will be provided in the coming days as well.
