Rajganj, 23rd June: The Panchayat Elections in West Bengal will be held on July 8. To promote peaceful voting during elections in various booths in different areas, the police force held a route march.
In this regard, today, under the leadership of Circle Inspector (IC) Pankaj Sarkar of Rajganj Police Station, a route march was undertaken from Rajganj Market to Kalinagar More. According to reports, during the route march, the IC interacted with the locals.
Speaking in this regard, the IC stated that if any party worker tries to impose a threat on the voters, the latter should immediately inform the administration. In addition, he emphasized that the main objective of the route march was to promote non-violence during the polls.
