Rajganj boy excels in Madhyamik exams, dreams of becoming an engineer face uncertainty due to financial constraints

Rajganj, 19th May: Bishal Barman, the son of a vegetable seller in Rajganj, has achieved commendable results in the secondary examination. Bishal, a student of Sariyam Jashodhar High School in Rajganj, secured a score of 628. With aspirations of studying science and pursuing a career as an engineer, Bishal’s dreams now face uncertainty due to financial constraints.


Bishal, hailing from Sahdev Vitta of Kukurjan gram panchayat under Rajganj block, is the son of Maneshwar Barman. Maneshwar, the sole breadwinner of the family, supports his wife, two sons, and elderly mother through his vegetable-selling business. The family manages to make ends meet with their modest income, but they are concerned about fulfilling Bishal’s educational aspirations.

Expressing his joy at achieving good results, Bishal acknowledged the hardships endured by his father to provide for their education and sustain the family. Determined to support his family, Bishal aims to work hard and stand beside them in their journey. His father, Maneshwar Barman, expressed pride in his son’s accomplishment. However, the looming financial constraints raise doubts about whether Bishal’s dream of becoming an engineer can be realized.


Recognizing the challenges faced by the family, they have sought assistance and support to ensure that Bishal’s educational aspirations are not hindered by financial limitations.
