Rajganj, 31st July: An awareness camp was organised at Ambari-Falakata Chinta Mohan High School in Rajganj on Friday to educate students about human trafficking, cyber fraud and substance abuse.
The programme was organised by Bhorer Alo Police Station. Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) of Siliguri Metropolitan Police, Officer-in-Charge Sudip Dutta of Bhorer Alo Police Station, along with other police officials, attended the camp. Teachers and a large number of students also participated.
During the session, police officials highlighted the growing threats of human trafficking, cyber fraud and substance abuse. Students were advised on how to stay safe from such crimes and urged to immediately inform the police if they come across any suspicious activities.
Police also appealed to everyone to remain vigilant against the spread of substance abuse in the area. Officials urged people to promptly report anyone involved in the sale of drugs or other intoxicating substances to the police or the administration.
The camp concluded with a message encouraging greater public awareness to build a safer and crime-free society.
