Siliguri, 04th February: Rainfall since Friday morning dampened the Saraswati Puja spirit of the people and traders in Siliguri. The potters and vendors had hoped for good business this season especially after all educational institutions reopened from February 03.
Saraswati Puja will be celebrated on February 05, i.e. tomorrow, this year. While some were spotted shopping for the festival, the crowd in the market seems to be comparatively less than other times. Sellers are hopeful that after the clearing of the weather, the people will come out of their houses.
