Jalpaiguri, 26th June: Yellow alert has been issued along the Indo-Bangladesh border area starting from Dohmani to Mekhliganj.
According to sources, the Irrigation Department has issued a yellow alert after the water level in Teesta River surpassed the normal range due to continuous rains since Thursday night.
