Rajganj, 19th November: Raas festival has been organized by the women in Fatapukur. The festival was inaugurated by Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy on Thursday.
Shri Krishna’s Raas Utsav and Mela are organized in Fatapukur School Para of Rajganj Block since 2014 under the initiative of local women. This time, the administration did not give permission to conduct a Mela (fair) due to the pandemic situation.
The members of the management committee said that the initiative has been taken by around 50 women from the locality.
