Naxalbari, 01st November: A python was found dead on the Asian Highway in the Khalbasti area of Naxalbari. The snake met its demise while attempting to cross the road.
Passersby noticed the lifeless python and promptly informed the Naxalbari police and the Tukriajhar Forest Department. Authorities arrived at the scene to retrieve the deceased snake, which measured approximately 7-8 feet in length.
