Cooch Behar, 18th October: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the Prajukti ISKCON Committee took to the streets of Cooch Behar protesting the vandalism on Durga puja mandap in Bangladesh, burning the statue of the ISKCON founder, and the brutal killing of two Hindu devotees.
A rally was taken out from Jenkins School more in Cooch Behar and went around different parts of the city. They demanded severe punishment for the culprits.
In this regard, Suman Karmakar said, "We have taken to the streets to protest the way Hindus have been attacked in Bangladesh. We want the Bangladesh government to identify the culprits and take immediate action."
