Protest in Kharibari over suspension of five BJP MLAs from WB Legislative Assembly

Kharibari, 29th March: After a conflict broke out between Trinamool and BJP MLAs in the assembly, Five BJP MLAs, including Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh and Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari, were suspended by West Bengal Assembly Speaker Biman Bandyopadhyay on Monday for their alleged unruly conduct in the House.


The BJP workers staged a protest rally in Kharibari today. The rally was taken out from the BJP party office and concluded at Kharibari police station. National Council Member Ganesh Chandra Debnath, District Secretary Babita Chhetri, Mandal President Bholanath Siddha, Kalyanan Prasad, Manisha Sarkar, and others were present. A memorandum was also issued on behalf of BJP at Kharibari police station.
