Kharibari, 20th February: Preparations are in full swing in view of Maha Shivratri in the Shivalayas established in the Naxalbari border area of Galgalia. The Shivalayas are being decorated with attractive colors. Many programmes have been organized in the Shivalayas in Galgalia on the occasion of Maha Shivratri for the past several years.
According to the information received from the temple committee, a grand procession will be staged on the occasion of Maha Shivratri, which will include a large number of devotees of Shiva. Offerings will be distributed and ‘Bhajan Sandhya’ will also be organized in the evening. Preparations are in full swing in the Shivalayas near Dangujote and Saramati Brij of Kharibari block.
