Siliguri, 25th January: On Sunday, Netaji’s 125th birth anniversary was celebrated in the city with due respect. Leaders, ministers, and renowned people of Siliguri decorated his statue at Netaji More, Siliguri, and laid wreaths.
However, on Tuesday morning, the locals spotted broken sunglasses on Netaji’s statue. The incident has been highly condemned and many people have demanded severe punishment for the culprits.
