Siliguri, 31st July: Pradhan Nagar Police recovered 45 stolen and lost mobile phones and handed them over to their rightful owners on Friday.
According to police, several complaints regarding stolen and lost mobile phones had been registered at different times. Based on these complaints, Pradhan Nagar Police launched a sustained investigation using technical analysis and digital tracking, leading to the recovery of 45 mobile phones from various locations.
After verifying all necessary documents, the recovered phones were returned to their respective owners at Pradhan Nagar Police Station.
The recipients expressed happiness after getting their lost mobile phones back. Several owners thanked the police, saying they had little hope of recovering their devices.
Pradhan Nagar Police appealed to the public to report stolen or lost mobile phones to the nearest police station immediately so that timely action can be taken with the help of technical assistance to recover the devices.
