Siliguri, 17th July: Acting on a tip-off, a team of Pradhan Nagar Police apprehended a drug peddler identified as Shankar Sarkar (40) of Mallaguri, near Primary School.
Police recovered and seized 60 grams of brown sugar from his possession. The arrested person will be presented before the Ld Court today, and necessary follow up actions are being taken.
