Siliguri, 24th July: Pradhan Nagar police recovered banned cough syrup and intoxicating tablets from the SNT area near Junction. Two people were arrested in the incident. The arrested accused have been identified as Nicholas Tamang (22) and Crystal Chhetri (28). 240 pieces of intoxicating tablets and 16 bottles of cough syrup were recovered from their possession.
On the other hand, the Pradhan Nagar Police arrested a youth with 16 litres of illegal liquor from Panchanan Colony. The arrested accused has been identified as Dilip Sharma (28).
The three arrested individuals were produced at Siliguri court today.
