Siliguri, 05th July: The Pradhan Nagar Police arrested a youth with brown sugar. The arrested accused has been identified as Sheikh Mostafa Ahmed (20), a resident of Birbhum.
According to police sources, the youth had smuggled the drugs from Lalgola in Murshidabad to Siliguri to sell it. Upon receiving this news, the Pradhan Nagar police raided the Junction area on Sunday night and detained the youth.
A search was conducted and 110 grams of brown sugar was recovered from his possession. Following which, he was arrested. The youth has been produced in the Siliguri court today after filing a case under the NDPS Act.
