Siliguri, 30th August: Pradhan Nagar police arrested 5 miscreants planning a robbery, on Sunday night. The arrested accused have been identified as Sangam Saibo alias Sagar (22), Vinod Bhagat alias Kalu (28), Santosh Sahni (28), Deb Roy (19), and Vikram Saibo (30).
According to the information received from the police sources, the 5 crooks had gathered in the Pradhan Nagar police station area planning a robbery. Receiving a tip-off, the police conducted an operation and arrested them from the aluminum factory area in Adam Singh Nagar. Rods, saws, knives, and sharp weapons have been recovered from their possession.
All were produced in Siliguri court today. The police are investigating the whole case.
